Founded by Peter and Angelina Carando as Carando Gourmet Frozen Foods, they crafted traditional family recipes true to their heritage. The company earned a reputation in the industry for making superior foods by adhering to the same standards Peter and Angelina used when cooking at home made with care and expertise, using only the finest ingredients.

Over the past several years, CG Family Foods has built an expanded and best-in-class operating team under the direction of Peter Carando Jr, Chairman and Michael J. Carando, CEO and President, a 30-year industry veteran. The seasoned management team assembled by Mr. Carando includes a newly promoted Chief Operating Officer, Jacqueline Symington; Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Kathleen Carando; Director of Supply Chain Operations, Jennifer Dufour Blackwell; Operations Manager, Jermaine Riley; Quality Assurance Manager, Paola Martinez-Ramos and Transportation and Safety Manager, Peter Carando III.
